The First Floor is a large open plan space with plenty of comfy seating, light and bright views across Smithfield market. There’s plenty of flexibility so you can use the space for corporate drinks, networking, conferences or even a large private dining event.
Our first floor is also home to our two conjoined ‘Private Rooms’ which offer the perfect meeting space for brainstorming sessions, digital presentations and team training as well as for private dining.
Our spaces
The Market Room is situated on the first floor next to our Workspace. This intimate meeting room boasts the best of ‘Smiths’ of Smithfield character, tucked away from the bustling streets of Smithfield market. Filled with natural daylight this is the perfect escape from your office. The room is also the ideal location for your next birthday party venue in Central London as well as private dining.

Give your business meeting the edge with one of our delegate packages that cover all your needs and include unlimited teas and coffees.
For morning meetings enjoy our healthy breakfast spread including pastries, smoothies, granola and more. If you’re in for the afternoon then you’ll be treated to a selection of artisanal sandwiches and nutritious salads followed by cakes and biscuits baked by our in-house pastry chef.
Private Dining Set Menus
Book one of our private dining rooms or the entire First Floor and you’ll have the chance to dine from our 3 course set menu created by our AA Rosette winning chef Tim Dela Cruz from The Grill.
Each course comes with a range of options as well as being able to cater to all dietary requirements. Creative dishes, fresh produce and of course you’ll be able to choose premium cuts of British steak that pay homage to Smithfield Market across the road.
Private Drinks Parties
The First Floor is perfect for large private drinks parties of up to 120 people, featuring stunning views of Smithfield Market and an exclusive private bar.
Enjoy a range of canape boards and bar sharers, an impressive wine selection curated by our in-house sommelier, and expertly crafted cocktails by our dedicated bar team.

Give your meeting or working day a unique setting. With options for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a cheeky cocktail or two after work, we can create a bespoke a meeting package that suits you. In the evening our first floor turns in a semi-private bar for drinks parties, private dining and events of any grandeur.
